Computer Slow Processing Problems

This is not an uncommon problem these days when a computer got stuck up in performing some tasks or operations.

The basic reasons behind this problems as follows:

Tons of unwanted software installed in the computers. Try to remove unwanted software in the computer. Because they consume lot of computer hard disk and also requires a large chunk of your computer RAM (Random Access Memory). Sometime some crucial files required for running these programs or software may get deleted or corrupted, so it results in hanging up your PC.

Do not install too many games that require heavy graphics, this will cause the computer to slow down and sometimes cause hang ups. If you really want to enjoy all that heavy games, get good RAM like 528 MB and any top end processor. This will help you boosting the performance of your computer when you run high graphic games.

Remove all the temporary files in the computer, they also slows down computer.

Try to do the defragmentation of Hard Disk once a week, it will boost up the performance of your computer.

Try to prevent your computer from dust by covering it with dust covers, as dust is one of the top enemy of PCs. Keep your computer in a dry place as moist conditions are not good for the computer.

The points may help you improving and boosting the performance of your computer.

How to Build A Barbecue For Under $1 

I went into my local garden centre recently to find that the whole place have been completely re-vamped and a massive area dedicated to barbecues and smokers. What did this tell me?........Two things:-

1. Barbecue grills and smokers continue to become more popular recreational equipment.
2. There’s money to be made!

Let’s face it; the smartest “in your face” displays have got to be for the products that carry the biggest margins, right? Having spoken to the manager I think maybe it’s the accessories where a killing can be made but whatever the case, you can quite easily spend a serious amount of cash on a new barbecue grill and that will be completely wasted money if you buy the wrong thing.

Consider the situation twenty odd years ago before modern manufacturing techniques, globalisation and low cost country sourcing, the situation was even worse for someone with no income and lots of leisure time (you guessed it, I was a student!). CD’s had just appeared on the music shelves (a big drain on cash compared to vinyl), I don’t think the word download was in our vocabulary and certainly the thought of getting free barbecue recipes off the internet could be nothing more than a dream.

I was doing what students do best – having one long party! But the opportunity to have a barbecue party was nil because we simply couldn’t afford to buy a barbecue, and to a confirmed outdoor cooking enthusiast. It was at this point that I decided to build my homemade brick barbecue out of 16 second hand bricks and two cake cooling trays.

Not only is this a great low cost introduction to charcoal barbecue grills it’s also a wonderfully portable system too. Simply lay 8 bricks on the ground in two rows of four to make a square. On two sides place 2 bricks (on their sides) and place another 2 bricks on top so that in cross section you’ve now got a U shape. Throw the charcoal on the brick base a span two cake cooling grids across the top and there you have it.

The cake cooling trays are really cheap in the supermarket and (as a true student has to) the bricks were acquired one night from a local housing development. So with the barbecue complete, how did I get hold of some good free BBQ recipes?
Well that’s where it all started to fall apart and a process of enthusiastic trial and error began. I’m pleased to say that those early formative years have paid off handsomely; all my friends still love my outdoor cooking and so much so that www.BBQ smoker recipes.com was born to document mine and my friends’ tasty creations.

If you do give the low cost barbecue a try, notice how the bricks heat up and create an “all round” heat. Not only is it cheap, it’s actually very effective too!

Quit Smoking This Year

There are many smokers that set as their end of the year resolution to try to quit smoking. Unfortunately, a very small number out of these can keep their promise. But why is that so difficult a promise to keep? In case you are a smoker and have tried at least once to quit, you know what a nightmare quitting is, at least the first few months without cigarettes. so, how can you quit smoking and still get a normal life, without feeling the permanent need to smoke and without feeling that something is missing from your daily routine.

To quit smoking is not an easy thing to do. First of all, nicotine creates addiction, and even if you are convinced that smoking is bad and want to stop buying cigarettes, you will feel the physical need to smoke. However, you need to know that nicotine creates the least addiction out of all the addictive substances, so you can quit smoking. Some people try to quit smoking by using nicotine patches. These might work, but in some cases, these patches only create a nervous state and give no results, the craving for a smoke growing bigger.

If you have negative experiences linked to nicotine patches, you can try something else. The most important thing is to be convinced that you really want to quit smoking. If you are not 100% convinced, you might not be able to succeed and become a more ardent smoker. No matter how you put it, smoking is bad. It does not calm you down, as many smokers tend to think. As a matter of fact, the cigarettes induce even more stress hormones. Smokes are bad for health, for skin, for the people around you. However, these reasons might not be sufficient for heavy smokers to be determined to quit. So, if these reasons are not good enough for you, you need to think about all the bad things smoking may cause in your life. For instance, if you do not care about your own heath, think about your children’s health. You also have to think about smoking as a negative habit.

Last but not least, you will have to replace this bad habit with a good one. Be careful not to turn to food and try to replace the smokes with food. Many ex-smokers tend to do that. And the result is extra weight. Try to take up a new hobby. You could start a sport or painting or anything that can relax you.
